NOTES:
Finding Lucy Newman.  Our Lucy is not the one that married W.J. Peregoy/Perrygoy.  W.J. Peregoy (March 1856 VA) married Lucy F. Rosser, daughter of Richard Rosser & Emily Perrygoy, in 1888.  According to Lucy Perrygoy's death certificate, she was born on October 24, 1862 and died at 68 years of age on 18-Feb-1931 Ralls County, Mo with parents both from VA.  W.J. & wife Lucy are found on th 1900 & 1910 Census for Spencer, Ralls County, Mo (img 22 & img 2).  Their daughter Helen Frances Perrgoy's death certificate states that her mother's maiden name was Lucy F. Rosher/Rosser.
