Chris was born May 10, 1967 in Spokane, WA.
He passed away May 25, 2008 in the Colville
National Forest. He
graduated from Rogers High School and worked in the construction industry
in Spokane for
over 21 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and disk
golfing with his son. He was a member of Spokane Disk Golf Association. Chris
had a big heart and will be remembered as a giving person. He was a wonderful
and caring father and a loving husband. He will be missed by his friends and
family. He is survived by his wife, Rosene; son, Alex
Hurd (15); daughter, Savannah Hurd
(13); brothers: Jesse (Kayla) Hurd, Burt and John Hurd; sisters: Pam Smiley, JoAnn Hurd, Valerie Ward. He was
preceded in death by his parents: James "Curly" and MaryLou Hurd. The family wishes
to give special thanks to Bill Simons and the Treadwell family for being such
wonderful family friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 31,
2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private. Memorial
contributions may be made to S.D.G.A., c/o Gordy Crafts,
422 W. 33rd Ave, Spokane WA 99203. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Hennessey Smith Funeral Home.
