Mrs. Mintie Alice Johnson, 76, Bridger, died Thursday
morning in a Billings hospital, where she had been a
patient since Saturday.
Born Nov. 29, 1889, in Etna, Neb. She grew up in
Gothenburg, Neb., and was married there in 1906 to
John Edward Johnson.
They moved to Dillon, Mont., in 1912 and to Bridger
in 1936. She was a member of the Bridger Methodist
Church.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph E. Johnson,
Ft. Smith; Wayne H. Johnson, Santa Cruz, Calif., and
Ivor L. Johnson, 1923 9th Ave. N.; a daughter, Mrs.
William Hughes, Hot Springs; a sister, Mrs. Katie Post,
Arnold, Neb.; 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Bridger Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rockvale
Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge.
