I did find a death certificate which indicates a Jonathan Hurlbert, date of Death October 16, 1900 that he was a white male, single and 80 years old.  Occupation: Farmer; Place of Birth: Cooperstown, Otsego Co., N.Y.; Place of Death: Canton, Pennsylvania; Cause of Death: Heart Disease; Duration of Last Illness: Sudden Death; Place of Interment: North Union; Date of Interment: October 18, 1900; Name of Father: Blank; Name of Mother: Blank; Date of Record: 16-June-1901.
